It has been a week with a lot going on, that is for sure.  It’s going to take me a while to mention everything that has happened, or is going to happen in the next couple of days.  This blog will basically set an agenda for what you’ll find coming up soon, hopefully I’ll be able to accomplish by Monday night for posting on my blog spot here.  The next one will entail a little unwelcome news, plus many many things that have happened this week that made for a great end of the week.

Back on August 9^th, at around 10:30am – Deputy Chris Dewey who worked for the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s office which is located across the street from where I work (KRJM Radio – Gold 101.5 FM) passed away due to complications from the shooting that occurred just a block from the radio station and courthouse on February 18^th, 2009.  He made it nearly 18 months of pain, suffering and emotional drain on his wife Emily and so many others. 

On August 10^th, I was invited to be part of a 5K event right in Mahnomen in line with the Brain Development Conference put on by White Earth.

On August 12^th, the journey began for this weekend, which will include a description of the trip to the Twin Cities/Stillwater area, and Hudson, where I’m at right now, relaxing at the hotel, watching the Twins beating the Oakland A’s 4-3 in the top of the 6^th. 
It might take a while to get through all that has/is going to happen here, but it will be described for you to read about.  I can tell you this much, it has already been one heck of a weekend, and it’s just barely begun!
