Encouragement from a war vet

You never know who you’re going to run into at the gym. 
Last night while doing a normal workout that consisted of interval running,

Core work and boxing, I met a guy that was a former coach and boxing champion.
Not only those, but also a World War II Veteran.  This guy was very interesting to
talk to.  Right when he walked into the gym, I was nearing the end of my second
three minute round of three that I was completing with my trainer Chris, who is
a retired pro boxer from Detroit Lakes. ...

Lets talk

With no more run events scheduled for the remainder of the year, the schedule still isn’t cleared.  Training continues to keep in shape, and another form of running will be done tomorrow and one month from today.  It’s not running my mouth in a bad way, but a way that I hope effects people in a positive way.

Food for Thought

I spoke with one of my friends and fellow "radio guys" from the station cluster over in Fosston, MN about my running and the event that went on back in August for Sgt Matthew Harmon of Lengby, MN. 
A 7.6 mile run that started at the Fosston High School and ended at the cemetery where Sgt Harmon is resting, in Lengby was done on the day of his funeral, August 27th, 2011. 
I've explained how it came about, why I did it and what it felt like to do an event like that to several people one on one ...
