I really don’t think words can justify what you feel during certain circumstances like yesterday, but I can try my best.
I’ve always heard that actions speak louder than words and that seemed to hold true during Freedom Run 9 that ended up being a 7.6 mile run.
On Wednesday of this past week, I was invited and requested to take part in a special event. Another Minnesota solider had lost his life alongside another young warrior from Grand Rapids, MI on August 14th in Afghanistan. I recei...

There are many events that go on throughout the year, some of which you wish would never have to happen. One of those is happening this weekend in Fosston & Lengby, MN.

Release: Day of the Deployed
Posted by Kurt Philion on Sunday, August 7, 2011,
In 2006, Soldiers’ Angels requested help of then Governor John Hoeven to sign the first ever Day of the Deployed proclamation in honor of deployed warriors from North Dakota. A growing nationwide movement, Day of the Deployed has been celebrated every October 26 since 2006 with events, parties, governors’ proclamation and pomp and circumstance in honor of our nation’s deployed troops and their families.
The proclamation grew over the years to have over 40 governors across the ...
