It always seems like the Thanksgiving holiday brings forth a lot of food. It was no different this year at my parents' place. A great day to spend with the family, for runners it can be a day that will take a lot of time to work off all the pounds you gain in that time!

Another speech, another success

I like to run, but I also add to that by running my mouth. Not in a bad way, more so speaking about what I'm doing, why I'm doing it and who I'm aligned with. The official preparation for the day started with packing to stay at “Hotel Philion” (my parents’ place) on Wednesday night. After a state showcase show our radio stations aired at...

Big day coming...
Posted by Kurt Philion on Saturday, November 6, 2010,
Well it's less than a week now until Veteran's Day. A day to thank a veteran if you haven't done so already each day in the past. It's a day to come together with the local American Legion clubs and celebrate those who have sacrificed for their country and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free.
I've got a schedule of events here for the Veteran's Day programs in my home county, Red Lake County on November 11th. We've got a special guest, or should I say, guests...
